Earth Day | Born in China

Today we celebrate two very important things: Planet Earth and Animal Kingdom’s birthday.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park opened on April 22, 1998. It is a zoological theme park, home to many types of wildlife.

Our favorite attraction at Animal Kingdom is definitely the Kilimanjaro Safari ride. Guests can get an up close view of African animals, including giraffes, zebras, elephants and more.

We also adore trips to Rafiki’s Planet Watch.  This Wildlife Express Train takes guests to a petting and conservation area for even closer up experiences, including a behind-the-scenes look at the park.

To celebrate Earth Day 2017, Disneynature is presenting its newest film Born in China.

The nature documentary follows the adventures of three animal families in China: the majestic panda, the savvy golden monkey and the elusive snow leopard. Click here to view movie times for Born in China at AMC Disney Springs.
